Policies and Procedures
Dress Code
Students are required to be dressed according to the specific dress code stated with each class description. Students not dressed appropriately will not be permitted to participate in class. The student’s body and face must be visible to enable quality instruction, placement, and correction. All jewelry should be removed before class and all students must have hair secured away from face.
Attire:
Creative Movement and Ballet/Jazz I: Solid color leotard (black preferred). A dance skirt or shorts/pants (lycra) are permitted. Pink tights.
Ballet/Jazz II: Solid color leotard (black preferred). A dance skirt or shorts/pants (lycra) are permitted. Tan tights.
Hip/Hop: T-Shirts and sweat pants are permitted as long as the student can move around.
Shoes:
Creative Movement and Ballet/Jazz I: Pink leather ballet shoes
Ballet/Jazz II: Tan Jazz Shoes
Hip/Hop: Tan Jazz Shoes or Tennis Shoes

Attendance
Regular attendance to class is needed to advance technique. Students who are injured or ill but not contagious are encouraged to still attend class and remain engaged by offering feedback to their peers. Students who are ill and contagious or have a fever are asked to remain home to prevent spreading illness.
If classes are canceled due to weather or other circumstances, make-up classes and times will be determined at that time. Closures will be announced via our Facebook/Instagram pages and text message and consider weather conditions and the closures of businesses and schools in the area.
Payments
Payments are expected to be given on time unless an previous arrangement has been made. Payments later than 2 weeks will receive a 20% late payment charge.
